1. Terms of Acceptance & Scope

Welcome to Foldum Corp. ("Foldum", "Company", "We", "Our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all access to and use of our digital platforms, specification documents, product literature, commercial quotes, and procurement services relating to HUD-compliant permanent prefabricated homes and galvanized steel rapid-deploy micro-shelters.

By browsing this platform, submitting technical inquiries, requesting commercial quotations, or executing procurement contracts with Foldum Corp., international procurement officers, government entities, relief agencies, commercial developers, and buyers agree to adhere strictly to these Terms.

2. Commercial Procurement & B2B Orders

Foldum Corp. specializes in direct factory engineering, mass manufacturing, and international shipment of prefabricated structures. All product orders and commercial procurement agreements are subject to the following standard procedures:

• Technical Specifications: All structural drawings, square footage calculations, floor plans, and material compliance specs (such as R-value ratings, wind/earthquake tolerances, and fire resistance limits) are confirmed upon final contract signing.
• Pricing & Quotations: Quotes are issued based on raw material costs, customized options, freight considerations, and volume requirements. Written quotations remain valid for the timeframe specified in the formal pro-forma invoice.
• Factory Production Schedules: Off-site fabrication (accounting for approximately 70% of permanent home builds or flat-pack micro-shelters assembly) commences upon receipt of confirmed contract deposits and approved site-engineering plans.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property featured across Foldum Corp. platforms—including engineering designs, patented flat-pack mechanisms, floor plan layouts (such as The Altra, The Briza, The Coro, The Loftin, and others), architectural CAD models, technical documentation, brand assets, and digital media—remains the exclusive property of Foldum Corp. and its legal licensors.

Unauthorized duplication, reverse engineering, unauthorized commercial distribution, or modifications of Foldum’s modular housing technology without explicit written authorization is strictly prohibited under international patent and copyright laws.

4. Quality Assurance, Certifications & Warranties

Foldum Corp. maintains high standards of structural integrity and environmental compliance across all product lines:

• HUD-Compliant Permanent Homes: Manufactured to meet or exceed HUD codes, Energy Star efficiency parameters (R-38 roof, R-21 wall, R-22 floor insulation), and criteria eligible for conventional 30-year financing (including Fannie Mae MH Advantage® and FHA Title II standards).
• Temporary Micro-Shelters: Engineered from high-grade galvanized steel, fire-rated to 1,400°F, wind/earthquake rated, and mold/microbial growth resistant. Micro-shelter structural components carry a standard 10-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

5. Logistics, International Freight & Delivery Terms

Global shipping terms (such as FOB, CIF, or DDP) are agreed upon individually for each procurement contract. Foldum flat-pack micro-shelters pack down to 18 inches in height, permitting up to 10 units per standard truck delivery to optimize freight efficiency for emergency management and international relief deployments.

Buyers are responsible for verifying local site preparation, ground leveling, utility connections, and foundation readiness prior to delivery as outlined in technical project documentation.

6. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

Foldum Corp. shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from site-preparation delays, unapproved structural modifications made by third-party installers, or non-compliance with local zoning codes outside guaranteed manufacturing specifications.

Neither party shall be held accountable for delivery delays resulting from acts of God, extreme natural disasters, global port embargoes, international trade disruptions, or force majeure events beyond reasonable commercial control.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and all commercial transactions associated with Foldum Corp. shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without giving effect to conflicts of law principles. Any legal proceedings arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in California, USA.
